Going to miss working with my partner in crime. Julie has been helping me for the last couple years with all the production around each photo shoot. I swear sometimes I think Julie is from my home town in Ohio because of her sense of humor.
Being our last photo shoot together we had to go out in style. Julie is going to be the manager at Peek Kids on Chestnut street so if you are ever in San Francisco stop by and visit her. Thank you for all your help and all the memories.

Ridiculously cute /
I had so much fun photographing all the babies on this particular shoot. This little one was a stand out, so sweet. We set up mobile studio at Horatio jungs living room. This goes to show you don't need a fancy studio to get great shots.
Duke Kahanamoku /
A funny story, when I was living in Ohio. My girlfriend at the time and I would visit her grandmother who lived next door to her. Her grandmother said I reminded her of Duke so she started calling me Duke. I had no idea why she was calling me Duke, the only Duke that I knew was John Wayne. Some 15 years later when I started surfing I learned all about Duke Kahanamoku from my trips to Hawaii. I am guessing she gave me the nickname based on my skin color and not my waterman skills in Ohio. She would have been living during Dukes accomplishments as being the fastest human to swim during that time as well as all his Olympic achievements. I am stoked to finally be reading his biography, really inspiring.

If you visit San Francisco you must try this restaurant. Pretty hard to get a reservation but well worth it. My favorite was the grilled octopus and the black bass.
